Quilpie museums

The Quilpie region in Queensland is home to several museums that showcase the area's rich history, culture, and natural wonders. The Quilpie Shire Military History Museum, located next door to the Visitor Information Centre, features photographs, memorabilia, and literature depicting Quilpie's military history. Another must-visit attraction in the area is the Quilpie Visitor Information Centre, Museums & Gallery. Nearby, the Eromanga Natural History Museum houses Australia's largest dinosaur, 'Cooper', a 95-98 million-year-old titanosaur. The museum also features some of the world's largest megafauna and an array of microfauna discovered in Eulo. It is located on a dedicated 167-hectare site, approximately one hour's drive west from Quilpie.
