Description

Headland Walking Track Wallabi Point is a nature lover's dream, offering a chance to explore the rainforest and its surrounding ocean habitats.

This short and relaxed trek provides stunning views of Saltwater Beach, Khappinghat Creek, and the Pacific Ocean. A viewing platform and information boards provide a great learning experience for families interested in these majestic marine mammals. Other endangered species, such as the little tern and pied oystercatchers, can also be observed along the way. Glorious white-bellied sea eagles and ospreys diving into the ocean add to the wildlife sightings. Additionally, the setting sun offers a breathtaking view of Wallabi Point.

To reach the track, visitors should head to the Wallabi Point area, approximately 21km from Taree. Taking the Pacific Highway and turning off at Wallabi Point Road will lead to a dirt road that leads to the car park, where the trail begins.
