his large-scale, immersive installation hosts an ensemble of performers that explore human and planetary fatigue and focuses on healing through its exploration of chaos, care, community and climate crisis.
About the Artist
Daisy Sanders is a Boorloo/ Perth-based dance/multidisciplinary artist whose artistic research sustains a unique commitment to community building, somatic dance as healing and immersive multi-disciplinary performance making. Her original works include Night Dancing (2022-current), Womb for World Weeping (STRUT Dance, 2022) and Room to Rest (Arts Centre Melbourne’s inaugural Alter State Festival, 2021). Daisy was an Australia Council Career Development artist in 2019 and the University of Otago’s Caroline Plummer Fellowship in Community Dance in Aotearoa in 2023.
