Mount Schank is a dormant volcano located 12 kilometres south of Mount Gambier.

It is a rare example of recent volcanic activity in South Australia and is considered a South Australian Geological Monument. The Mount Schank state heritage area covers approximately 150 hectares and includes the land around the volcano.

Visitors can enjoy a signposted walk from the car park to the top of Mount Schank, which is about 900m long and of moderate difficulty.
