Briagolong State Forest is a dense forest located north of the town of Briagolong, on the southern fall of the Great Dividing Range.

It is a two and a half hour drive from Melbourne. Originally inhabited by the Briakoloong people, the forest has a rich history and was once a popular destination for gold prospectors in the late 1800s.
