Description

Blacksmiths Beach is a popular patrolled beach located at the southern end of a nine-mile stretch of coastline.

The beach is well-known for its sandy expanse and crystal-clear waters, making it a great location for swimming. This beachfront also includes a breakwall that serves as the border between the beach and the Swansea Channel. The Blacksmiths Beach is home to the Swansea Belmont Surf Lifesaving Club, which offers several amenities and ample parking spaces.

Blacksmiths Beach offers an array of activities for visitors of all ages. The beach's clear waters make it a good location for swimming and surfing. The breakwall, which separates the beach from the Swansea Channel, is also ideal for walkers, joggers, and cyclists. You can find anglers casting lines from the breakwall all year long. The beach is flat and wide, so it is excellent for socialising, playing beach sports, sunbathing, or picnics along the shoreline. Children can dig in the sand and make sandcastles with the calm tide.

Blacksmiths Beach is ideal to be visited all year round. Summer weather is ideal for swimming and playing beach sports, and the beach is the perfect place to escape the heat.

Blacksmiths Beach is located in the southern part of a nine-mile stretch of coastline. To get there from Sydney, take the M1 motorway towards Newcastle, take the Exit 33 to Freemans Drive, continue on this route passing straight through the traffic lights at the roundabout, and continue along Lake Road to the beachfront. You will find ample parking places near Swansea Belmont Surf Life Saving Club. The beach is easily accessible by public transport
