Rest a while at Greenhills Inn, a unique double story pub, offering drinks, food, function room, accommodation and free camping. Rich in history and atmosphere, enjoy a meal and good company or stay.
Greenhills is located 119 kilometres from Perth and 23km east of the township of York. Greenhills Inn loses you within the tranquillity of the Wheatbelt under one and a half hours driving from Perth.
Greenhills Inn Bar and Café is open for dinner every night and for lunch from Wednesday – Sunday
The green dining room is named the Queen Room in honour of ‘The Boys’ John and Ashley. The Queen room seats up to 30 people and can be booked for private functions.
The Ruby Room, the dining room with the red ceiling, may also be booked for smaller functions or used as casual dining.
The Function Room is licensed for 150 people, although with the dance floor can comfortably fit 120 seated. This is perfect for a wedding or special birthday party, and has its own private licensed outdoor area the south side.
The Beer Garden located at the front of the building is perfect for families or large groups for alfresco dining. Dogs are welcome on a leash. During March and November Rodney and Apryl organise live entertainment for our popular Sunday Sessions, with the bouncy castle ‘Tipsy Turtle’.
The front bar has been refurbished with marri, jarrah and salmon gum. A beautiful display of natural West Australian hard woods. If you look to the ceiling there is money… join the fun to throw money on the ceiling at the bar to raise money for the RFDS (Royal Flying Doctors Service) to help us keep this great service in the air.
A games room at the end of the bar, houses the pool table, dart board and the duke box. This is also a space to hang out in a group.
The Ladies Parlour was originally built for the ladies to order their drinks. Ladies were not allowed in the front bar. Locals call this room the Virgins Parlour. Now it has two casual seating areas for up to eight people, next to the warm fire.
The historic Greenhills Inn has seven bedrooms, upstairs with shared facilities. Each room has its own individual style and is reminiscent of a time gone by. If this is not your style, there are eight ‘single men’s’ donga accommodation out the back, they are small but have ensuites. There is free camping to the side of the pub (unpowered) with use of the toilets and only $5 if you require a shower.
Apryl and Rodney welcome you to look around Greenhills Inn and soak up the atmosphere of a time gone by. Please ask one of the friendly staff for any local information, we are happy to help as we have lived in the Wheatbelt all our lives.
