In Detail

When the Ashbrook estate, who had a longtime policy of not showing wines, finally entered the SGIO WA Winemakers Awards and Exhibition in 1999, their entry won.````It was a long way from the weekend in 1976 when the brothers who own the business spent the whole time in the backbreaking work of planting.````The soil on which the grapes of Ashbrook grow once nourished jarrah and redgum forests, and even though the business has had time to grow to epic proportions, the output is still small, reflecting the ownersÆ dedication to maintain control.
