In Detail

Whiteman Park is just 25 minutes from Perth City and on the doorstep of the iconic Swan Valley so make the most of your visit and explore the region!

Feed the kangaroos, pat a koala and meet a hairy nosed wombat and all his native friends at Caversham Wildlife Park.  Gain an understanding of our flora and fauna on a Nocturnal Woylie Walk at Woodland Reserve.

Take delight in wandering through the Children's Forest.  Search for the many intriguing artworks - from giant ants, a life-size wedge-tailed eagle's nest and golden echidna - whilst finding out more about our native bushland.

Discover our rich transport heritage as you explore our three museums:  Revolutions Transport Museum, the Motor Museum of Western Australia and the Tractor Museum of Western Australia.  Enjoy the beauty of the bushland as you travel around the Park on a vintage train or tram.  Learn more about the Park on a free bus tour on the Whiteman Explorer.

We have three bush walking trails, 14km of walk and cycle paths, two playgrounds, a splash pool, a dog exercise area, pedal-kart hire, pristine picnic grounds and barbeque facilities.

Browse the shops in the village, book on to one of our tours or join us at one of our many special events.

We really have something for the whole family so pack a picnic and visit Whiteman Park today!
