In Detail

It is understood that Coorinja is a native name for the Place of the Seven Springs. Established in the late 1870's, the winery has operated continuously since it's establishment, making it one of the oldest wineries in the state. A scenic drive through the Darling Ranges along the Perth/Toodyay Road leads you to the historic cellar about 6km from the town of Toodyay. The cellars are built of stone and brick and two to three storey building still contains a large number of the original 470 and 770 gallon casks. Coorinja produces a large selection of both table and dessert wines and are well known for the quality and range of Ports available.
