Oliver Hill, named for a prison warder posted to Rottnest in the 1860's, is home to a Battery which is beleived to be the only remaining example of an underground complex of H1 guns in the world.

GETTING TO OLIVER HILL GUNS AND TUNNELS
You can cycle to Oliver Hill, or jump on the famous Captian Hussey train from the Settlement Railway Station. Don't miss this scenically beautiful, unique experience - purchase your train and tour tickets from the Visitor Centre at the end of the main jetty.
