Castle Rock Estate is nestled on the eastern slopes of the Porongurup mountain range and is named after a prominent nearby landmark. The vineyard has a cool and elevated northerly aspect, resulting in intensely flavoured wines.
The standard of viticulture is very high, and the site itself ideally situated (quite apart from its beauty). The Rieslings have always been elegant, and handsomely repaid time in bottle. In the most recent vintages the other wines of Castle Rock have improved considerably, with far greater weight and flavour than hitherto.
