The new Perth offices and workshop provides a unique identity for contracting company Hahn Electrical.
The building consists of three elements: workshop, offices and a veil. The veil has a dual role: a shading device for the office walls and energy efficient glass from solar heat gain, and as a symbolic gesture promoting the form of Hahn’s corporate brand.
The design allows easy expansion of the offices, retail and workshop facilities to meet future requirements. External spaces and landscaping were carefully designed for its low maintenance and selected to reflect the company’s Kalgoorlie heritage.
Hahn Electrical general manager Graham Higgins says that it’s a great place to work. The building is strikingly different but very effective for the current and future needs of the company.
