From private parties to some of Perth’s top corporate and community functions, MUSTARD works behind the scenes to deliver the best in event catering.
MUSTARD began in 1981 by two friends, Garry Rishworth and Phil Cogan, who attained the catering rights to the historic Cottesloe Pavilion, now known as Indiana. The pair quickly established themselves as Perth’s premium caterers.
The business grew to include the Cottesloe Civic Centre and by 1983 MUSTARD gained catering rights for the America’s Cup to be hosted in Fremantle.
The name MUSTARD became synonymous with exclusive events, offsite catering for the Perth A-list, high end corporate catering, and official functions at Government House (including catering for the Queen).
In 1990 MUSTARD acquired exclusive rights for Subiaco Oval.

Acquired by Spotless in 1993, MUSTARD merged the Kings Park Tea Rooms contract which lasted for five successful years. In 1996, Perth Zoo was added to MUSTARD’s exclusive list of venues.
Continuing to grow, MUSTARD was awarded the contract for the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre, (PCEC) opening its doors to the public in 2004. In 2005 nib Stadium catering contract was added to MUSTARD’s portfolio of venues.
In keeping with tradition, MUSTARD catering remains of the finest quality and is proudly one of WA’s most awarded caterers.
