As Living Edge has expanded, its commitment to the environment and corporate social responsibility has increased. Its recently introduced LivingOn strategy is helping to ensure the company’s environmental impact and carbon footprint is offset and that products are either GECA (Good Environmental Choice Australia) approved or in the process of obtaining this rating.
Living Edge’s commitment to this project is underpinned and inspired by the example set globally by Herman Miller. The company identified a responsibility to the environment and all new products are designed and built with cradle –to- cradle principles.
Building Sense needs no tools or technical skills, all components lock together around a central monobeam creating the piece of furniture required. A desk or a set of drawers can be created from the same parts.
Some of the Living Edge range can be seen in the recent corporate fitout of Match, located in the heritage listed WD & HO Wills building in the city centre.
A large number of Living Edge products were chosen to complement the building, resulting in a smart and usable workspace for the client.
Match staff members are now able to work easily and seamlessly as teams or close panels for privacy with the mixture of Resolve and My Studio Environments workstations supplied by Living Edge. The task chairs used are the Herman Miller Mirra chair which ensures the team is catered for ergonomically.
With national warehousing, order management and project coordination– Living Edge is able to ensure major projects and installations are delivered on time and within budget.
