In Detail

Upon setting foot inside The Mustang Bar – with its bright neon signs, eye-catching array of sporting memorabilia and smattering of Americana paraphernalia – you’d be forgiven for thinking you’d just entered a home-grown establishment smack-bang in the middle of the Land of the Free.

Modelled on America’s popular sports bars, The Mustang Bar features laid-back style, friendly service and music that will get even those with two left feet dancing.

It makes it the ideal place for friends and colleagues to let their hair down, whatever the occasion.

The large venue is split into two levels with booth-style seating and lounges and a selection of cafe tables and comfortable chairs scattered throughout. The raised area caters for a variety of functions and is sectioned off from the rest of the bar.

Theme parties, business sundowners, birthday parties, hens’ nights and reunions are all at home at The Mustang Bar. The venue has a selection of flexible function packages to suit varying tastes and budgets and the staff is available to help set up or decorate your big event. Reflecting the American theme, the menu is simple, fresh and very reasonably priced. Function packages are also available – choose from a set price package that includes food, or a pay-as-you-go option for two or more hours.

Live entertainment is featured every night and large screens make watching the big game all that more pleasurable.

If you’re not a sports fan, then there is a variety of themed nights, such as Tuesday night salsa and Friday night swing dancing, to capture your interest.

In true American style, a huge selection of local and imported beers are available, as are varieties of scotch, bourbon, fine wine and cigars.

The Mustang Bar can open as early as 6am if necessary for any function and is open from 11.30am to 1am, Monday to Thursday; 11.30am to 3am, Friday and Saturday; and noon to midnight on Sundays.
