Seems it wasn't just the owners who were looking for a place to grab a glass of wine and some conversation - one of their driving reasons for opening it. About a year on, and while it's much easier to actually make your way inside and even grab a sea, it's still going gangbusters. a bit of exposed brick, an eclectic selection of furniture, and a bar staff who are eager to please - Mrs Brown has everything you need for a comfy quaff.

Mrs Brown is a cosy place to meet up with friends for drinks and a chat, or even enjoy a game of scrabble by the fire.  The bar offers an interesting but concise selection of wines by the glass, and a full complement of beers and spirits.  If you’re hungry, try one of our cheese platters, or you’re welcome to order a burger or chips from Flipside Burger Bar next door and eat them in the bar.

A sunny rear courtyard is a new addition for summer 2010 and is available for private functions for up to 60 people.
