The Wines
Established in 2000 and after only seven vintages, 24 awards and one international trophy this winery continues to punch above it’s weight.  They have been rated 5 stars by James Halliday and named as one of his ten “Dark Horses” in 2009/10.  The winery produces Rhone styles such as Marsanne and Shiraz/Viognier.  They have also won numerous awards for their Riesling and Cabernet Sauvignon and took out a Tri-Nations trophy in 2007 for their outstanding 2005 Merlot.  There is nothing the owner, Alex Taylor, enjoys more than taking his visitors through a tasting of their superb range of wines and helping them explore the different vintages and varieties.

The Café
Built from rammed earth and recycled jarrah, the cellar door/café is a welcoming place to enjoy a relaxed lunch by the open fire in winter or on the wide verandahs in summer.  Local produce including Bouverie smoked trout and Ringwould goats cheese are featured on the menu as well as using their own estate grown olive oil.  The café is extremely popular so it is always advisable to make a reservation.

The Views
Stunning.  One of the most spectacular views in the region, the cellar door and café are built high on a hill with sweeping valley views of the surrounding countryside and the Porongorups.
