These lovely gardens were developed by the owners, Pat (decd) and David Blythe into the present expanse of flowers, shrubs and trees which were, in 1958, the local pub's cow paddock.

Natives and exotics mingle happily together. English visitors will recognize friends from their own gardens. Take a walk on the quiet side in an acre of peace and perfume. Trees include Paulownia (Empress of China), Hovenia Dulcis (Japanese Raisin) and Ginko (Maidenhair Tree). Be sure to see the Tree Dahlia, a world record 7.8 metres, it has been entered in the Guinness Book of Records.
