French post-Impressionist painter Georges Seurat is completing his pointillist work, ‘A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte’. George is an obsessive painter who risks it all, including his relationship with his lover Dot, to finish his latest masterpiece. A century later, George’s great-grandson is working as an artist. In search of inspiration, he soon discovers that the answer to his future is painted clearly in his past.
