Xanadu is one of the pioneers of Margaret River, first planted by Dr John Lagan in 1977. Winemaker Glenn Goodall aims to make wine with real personality allowing the fruit to shine through.
Xanadu Wines is a family owned winery, purchased by the Rathbone family in 2005, with a strong focus on producing premium wines that reflect the true characteristics of the Margaret River region.
In an idyllic setting in the very south west corner of Australia, the 85 hectares of vines on the original Xanadu Estate flourish in the rich, free draining gravel soils. In this near-perfect environment for viticulture, this unique maritime climate enjoys an abundant supply of water and is sheltered by forests of magnificient Marri trees. A state-of-the-art winery, restaurant and cellar door await your next visit to the region.
