Michael conducted major improvements to the Estate including the creation of the Cape Dutch style cellar door, chosen to reflect the distinctive homesteads found in the vineyards of South Africa’s Cape region as well as the geographical similarities between Margaret River and South Africa. The traditional Cape Dutch ‘werf’ garden, pristine lawns, huge Australian flag and over 1000 roses have become one of Margaret River’s must see attractions.

The Wines
Voyager Estate wines display an elegance, complexity and balance that are true to the individuality of the vineyard blocks. Exclusive to cellar door are limited release wines which reflect the history of Voyager Estate. The VOC Collection includes single vintage wines subtly different from the Estate range. Wines under the Tom Price range are the essence of Margaret River and the Estate. They are only made in exceptional years and are sourced entirely from the best single blocks of the Estate.

The Restaurant
Acclaimed Executive Chef, Nigel Harvey, and a committed team, share the vision to bring out the best in Margaret River’s food and hospitality to share with the world.  Each season Nigel designs a menu which reflects the perfect marriage of food and wine, on the plate and in the glass.  The nuances of the Voyager Estate wines also change with the season, so we take the same amount of care and precision to match wine and ingredients as we do to the combination of flavours in each and every dish.  A five-course Degustation lunch is available in addition to a la carte.

Voyager Estate Tours
A must-do experience is the Voyager Estate tour, an informative journey around the Estate’s grounds, vineyards, winery and Australia’s largest underground barrel cellar, finishing with a private wine tasting and lunch option.
