The Ullinger family planted their Redgate vineyard in 1977 and produced their first wine in 1981. With only their second vintage in 1982, they won the Montgomery Trophy and a gold medal at the Royal Adelaide Wine Show. The winery has since forged a name for quality wine throughout Australia and internationally.

Redgate has preserved the tradition of the family owned and run vineyard producing handcrafted premium wine. Fruit is harvested on both technical analysis and flavour in the vineyard and the use of premium oak ensures that our passion for producing excellent well structured wines is expressed through our strong elegant reds and rich fruit flavoured whites. With a range of port and dessert wines and a reputation for being the friendliest cellar door in Margaret River, a visit to Redgate has something for everyone.
