Amazing Outdoor Adventure Trio Southwest TripleXXXTreme
Southwest TripleXXXTreme brings together three local adventure tour operators, Dirty Detours Mountain Bike Adventures, Southern Skydivers and the Margaret River Climbing Co. in an ambitious collaboration which aims to increase the profile of adventure sports in the Margaret River region. Showcasing the Boranup forest, Wilyabrup sea-cliffs and a thrilling aerial overview of Geographe Bay this package of three activities rolled into one is a thrill seekers antidote to wine fatigue.
Traditionally famed as a wine producing region, Margaret River and its surrounds need to look further afield if the area is to continue to attract the tourist dollar. The people from Southwest TripleXXXTreme hope to help raise the profile of the area and to encourage people to stay longer and spend a little more time and money locally. By helping to expand tourism they also hope to shore up the argument against mining in the local area.
The three experiences on offer are Mountain Biking on unique single track forest trails, Rock Climbing on the Wilyabrup Sea Cliffs and Skydiving over Geographe Bay / Busselton. These locations are all pristine examples of the variety and diversity to be found in the South West.

There’s nothing we love more than sharing our local crag with adventures designed to challenge and exhilarate. Tackle vertical limestone cliffs of up to 40m, hug the rock and hang on by your fingertips...marvel at the dolphins frolicking in the waves below - there’s no way not to look down!

Your XXXTreme experience will begin with a 20 minute scenic flight over Busselton and the spectacular Margaret River Region. From altitude you will have amazing views of Geographe Bay, the famous Busselton Jetty, Cape Naturaliste and the wineries beyond. Then it’s time for the door to open, and ready…set… GO! The biggest rush comes during freefall where you and your instructor will plummet toward the earth at 200km/hour. Spread your wings and do ‘the Superman’ and feel the adrenalin pumping!

Rob and Tamara:
Rob started mountain biking in the Scottish Highlands in 1994. He worked as an adventure tourism guide in Alberta Canada before returning home to the Southwest. His passion started with building trails and freeriding. He now uses his knowledge to develop the local trails and encourage people to get out and be active whilst showing respect to the environment. Tamara has travelled extensively and has a passion for the outdoors. She enjoys working with people and encouraging them to achieve the most out of their tour experience. She has worked in the wine industry and loves combining her local wine and vine knowledge with riding - you could even join her on a Sip‘n’Cycle tour, responsible riding encouraged of course!
Mick and Donna:
Mick’s passion has been climbing since he was 11 years old. Having lived rough and climbed every day for a year at the climbing mecca Mount Arapiles in Victoria, Mick decided to take a road trip and explore some crags in the West. That was ten years ago and he has been climbing the Wilyabrup Sea Cliffs ever since. Whether he’s guiding schoolgirls or lead climbing for world class Swiss dudes, Mick lives and breathes the rock... Keeping the home fires burning and the 5 month old baby fed, Donna takes care of all the graphic design work for the team.
Glenn and Amy:
Glenn’s passion for high speed adventure, and love of flight has led him to ‘the best job in the world.’ This Kiwi adventure junkie started his career at 21, camera jumping, packing parachutes and living off 2 minute noodles and crayfish to pay for as many skydives as possible. 15 years later, he has over 13,500 skydives to his name, has jumped with the worlds best and managed skydive operations at the biggest Drop Zone in the world. After meeting Amy while holidaying overseas, the pair decided to pack up and move to Southwest WA to purchase ‘Southern Skydivers.’ With Amy’s experience in marketing and tourism, the pair is sure to take WA Skydiving by storm.
