An original settler’s cottage turned boutique vineyard and prize-winner at Australia’s pre-eminent environmental awards, hand-crafting certified organic wines, many of which are vegan-friendly.
The Little family fell in love with Karridale, southern Margaret River in 1995, when they first drove through the dense Karri forest and stumbled across an original settler’s cottage. It soon became their home. The clean and pristine environment encouraged them to farm organically from day one, their motivation being to look after and improve their perfect piece of earth. The vineyard is planted with Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz and the wines have grown a loyal following, with a Cellar Door coming soon.
Random Valley was a category winner of the 2005 Banksia Environmental Awards, the pre-eminent environmental awards in Australia.
As at July 2018, the cellar door is under construction.
In addition to the Margaret River classics, check out their rosé wines; one made from Cabernet and one made from Shiraz. Several of the wines are vegan.
