The development forms part of a cultural maritime precinct, which encompasses the Maritime Museum sites, historic World War II slipways and other important heritage sites around the West End of Fremantle. Open daily from 9:30am to 5pm (closed Good Friday and Christmas Day, 1pm-5pm Anzac Day and Boxing Day). Ask about our Annual Boarding Pass which features unlimited 12 months access to the Maritime Museum, discounted entry to the submarine and discounts at the Maritime Museum shops.

Overview

This world-class new museum in Fremantle's working port tells the story of Western Australia's maritime history, from tin canoe to Australia II, maritime trade, naval defence, the Indian Ocean, Fremantle, the Swan River and fishing.
