Flametree is located at the gateway to one of the world’s great wine producing regions – Margaret River.

In 2008 Flametree was catapulted into wine industry folklore after winning the Jimmy Watson Trophy for its first-ever red wine – the 2007 Cabernet Merlot. The winery has since won a string of accolades for its portfolio including a “Top Ten New and Exciting Wineries” rating in James Halliday’s 2010 Australian Wine Companion and is currently listed as a five-star winery in the 2012 edition.

With an open fire place, inviting deck and a beautiful garden Flametree cellar door is worth visiting at any time of the year.  Call in for a wine tasting where you can also sample delicious produce or peruse the exhibitions of local artists and browse through a wide range of merchandise. The red five-star rating in James Halliday's 2012 Australian Wine Companion reflects the number of outstanding wines in our portfolio.

Our Philosophy

Our winemaking philosophy harnesses rich Margaret River fruit characters that are harmoniously balanced and combined with an elegant structure. Blending from sub-regions allows us to produce wines with greater refinement and a complex layering of different fruit flavours to achieve a more balanced and consistent style of wine.

Flametree is closed on Good Friday and Christmas Day.
