BREC is the arts hub of the South West, promising to inspire and satisfy a broad range of people through a dynamic range of quality events and superior facilities.

BREC is dedicated to bringing the best of live theatre, music, comedy, contemporary dance, ballet, film, pantomime, drama, acrobatics, circus and much more to the community across Bunbury and the South West.

BREC is a creative space that enables inspiring, artistic, creative and passionate arts culture. It is a place to grow and learn, to have fun and relax, and above all, a place that supports our expanding audiences and welcomes with open arms.

We are committed to support the growth and development of Bunbury and the South West region, offering a creative space for community members, students, local businesses and professionals to build and grow with us.

In 2013/14 BREC underwent a significant expansion. To complement the original 810 seat proscenuim theatre and foyer, the Centre now features a 242 seat black box Cube theatre with the flexibility of retractable seating.

A large Sky Bar is situated directly outside the upstairs Cube theatre, which also caters to a new 300 capacity Wellington Suite function centre. This Suite can be divided into three seperate function rooms; the Harvey, Capel and Collie Rooms.

The expansion also includes a new fully-equipped commerical kitchen, an extension and upgrade on the original theatre foyer newly named the Dardanup Lounge and a new suite of offices. The original proscenium theatre is now called Stage One, allowing patrons to easily differentiate between the two theatre venues.
