Lombadina offers community based, comfortable, air-conditioned accommodation and a variety of indigenous guided tours. Set amongst lush green gardens 1 kilometer from a pristine, white sandy beach, Lombadina is an experience not to be missed.
All our accommodation is air conditioned and all linen is provided.
Office hours are 8 till 11 and 1 to 4 Monday to Friday. If your arrival is after hours please note that a map showing the location will be on the notice board outside the office and your accommodation will be unlocked and the key inside.

One of our Locals takes you on a general walk around the community describing the history of Lombadina Community and visiting other places such as our historical Church, Bakery, Craft Shop and Artefacts Shelter.

We take you in our 4WD vehicle and drive to a nearby tidal estuary. While searching for mud crabs, you local guide will explain the diversity of the local flora and fauna. You will learn how the local people hunt in creeks and get the chance to catch and tie a crab yourself. When there are enough crabs for a decent feed, we return to Lombadina where your guide will cook up a feast of fresh crab, salad and our famous Lombadina bread.
You will require old lace-up shoes or reef boots, adequate sun protection and a good insect repellent

We begin this unique day with a guided tour of the Lombadina Community and a visit to the ancient footprints. Then you will travel in our 4WD tour vehicle to Cape Leveque (Kooljaman), Swan Point and One Arm Point where we visit the community and trochus hatchery. During the tour, your guide will explain the history, culture and lifestyle of the local people. Morning tea and lunch are provided, and of course we will make time for a swim in one of the Dampier Peninsula’s beautiful beaches.

Kayak & Snorkel:
Your kayaking tour begins with a leisurely paddle out to the reef. You will spend plenty of time snorkelling and viewing hundreds of fish and amazing coloured coral. Your guide will tell you about the wide variety of life in these waters and explain how the local people fish and hunt. Next you will paddle to a special spot where you can see large stingrays and turtles. The tours are timed to take full advantage of the tides, ensuring that your experience is more exhilarating than exhausting!

Our tour begins with a leisurely walk around the idyllic Lombadina Mission and shows you the historical church, bakery and craft shop. You will learn all about the culture and lifestyle of the local people. Next we head off over the sand dunes in our 4WD tour vehicle to the site of the ancient human footprints. There will also be time for you to enjoy a swim in the crystal clear waters of Lombadina’s beautiful beach before returning to the community.

Our natural soap bars have Aboriginal healing & moisturising properties.
We collect our local plant ingredients accordingly within the Six Bardi Seasonal Calendar, when plant material properties are at their peak. This ensures that Kelk Creek delivers quality local bush material ingredients to our product range.
Our soap product ingredients are natural or organic and are purchased from reputable suppliers. Pure Essential Oils are added at 1% to all soap batches. All soaps are handmade and individually wrapped at Djugarargyn Outstation on the Dampier Peninsula.
Our new logo represents ‘Mother Earth’ which means creating good liyan to all. Liyan is the Bardi word for ‘feelings from the heart’
There are also “beach packs” available containing moisturisers and oils for hair and skin.
