Perth Venue- Must Winebar

Crowned winner of the Best Restaurant Caterer in WA at the 2014 and 2015 Savour Australia Restaurant and Catering Awards, and ‘Best of’ Award of Excellence in Wine Spectator’s 2015 Restaurant Wine List Awards, Must Winebar is one of Perth’s most iconic food and wine destinations, and it is easy to see why.

The venue is split in two: one part is a French- style bistro, and the other a sophisticated winebar. Function hosts can also choose from two private rooms that are ideal for product launches, canape functions, corporate lunches, wine tastings and private dining.

Located on the mezzanine level overlooking the bistro, the Private Dining Room has
a panorama window that allows a sneak peek into the kitchen for guests, and accommodates a number of seating configurations, plus a projector and screen.

The Champagne Lounge is more suited to intimate occasions, and features crystal chandeliers, soft furnishings, an impressive display of iconic champagne bottles, and an iPod docking station so that guests can play their own music.

If you can’t wait for your next function at Must, its regular in-house events will tide you over. There are wine tastings, cooking masterclasses and wine dinners, while A Taste of Must is a monthly opportunity to enjoy a seasonally themed four-course tasting menu for $65 (with optional sommelier-matched wines for $35).

This year the venue has also launched the Must Club, a thank-you from the winebar
to its faithful fans who have been frequenting since the doors opened in 2001. Must Club members are entitled to a range of special offers and goodies, so if you’re not a regular yet, now might just be the time.


Where | Located on Beaufort Street in Highgate, less than 10 minutes from the CBD.
Numbers | The bistro caters for up to 100 guests. The Private Dining Room accommodates 42 guests seated and 80 cocktail-style, while the Champagne Lounge caters for 20 guests seated, or 32 cocktail- or lounge-style.
Food | Contemporary French-inspired food is designed by chef Russell Blaikie. Event hosts can choose from sit-down function menus or beautifully crafted canapes and hors d’oeuvres.
Drink | More than 500 wines are available, as well as boutique beers, cocktails, spirits and digestives. All wines are available to takeaway.
