Composite Materials Australia (CMA) is Australia’s leading importer and distributor of composite materials from around the globe.
CMA’s owner and director, Eamon Hurley, has more than 15 years of experience in the industry, and has maintained ongoing relationships with both builders and homeowners right across the country. He is also an HIA GreenSmart-accredited professional.
Over the last four years, CMA has had great success with Passport Decking including winning the prestigious HIA GreenSmart Product of the Year Award in 2013.
Made from 100 per cent cellular PVC, Passport Decking boards have a low carbon footprint as compared to normal plastics, while their increased lifespan reduces landfill and the need to replace.
Passport Decking is unlike other deck boards because it is guaranteed to contain no wood fibre. It offers the highest UV-stability and extreme resistance to scratches, mould and stains.
CMA also distributes DuraLife, a ‘Capped WPC’ (wood-plastic composite). It boasts a large joist span of 500mm (versus 400mm) over boards of equivalent thickness). This is due to the unique composition of only hardwood fibre and polypropylene (hard plastic) versus others which are softwood and polyethylene
DuraLife is a very rigid board with long span, reduced expansion/contraction, and high slip resistance. All boards have a 25-year warranty.
I-lighting is a complete outdoor LED lighting system that’s perfect for decking and stairs.
It simply clips together, removing the need for an electrician (and the cost). The range includes bullets (up-lights), stair, balustrade,
strip and garden lights. All add that finishing touch to any decked garden area as well as security, safety and ambience.
