A Moveable Feast is the title of Hemingway’s memoir of his time cutting his journalistic teeth in Paris during the 1920s. The quote from the book “We ate well and cheaply” seemed to sum up what A Moveable Feast Catering principals Ellie and Zac were striving to achieve with their new business venture - to make excellent and innovative food at affordable prices.
It also seemed like the perfect name for a company that can deliver food to wherever you are - whether that’s in a beachside cave, on a boat charter,
or at a intimate backyard wedding.
Launched in 2015, the business is the culmination of the dynamic duo’s extensive hospitality experience working both front and back of house, in everything from Michelin-starred restaurants to food trucks, bars, cafes, and events.
When discussing their business model, they took a brave step not to have set menus, opting instead to create bespoke dishes and menus for each function, using fresh ingredients and fashioning truly tailored events for all budgets.
