Intelligent use of symmetry, in both the design and landscaping, creates a grand sense of arrival at this two-storey home in Perth’s western suburbs. The original site provided the perfect foundation for a standard two-level home – however, as with most of Zorzi’s projects, the team was asked to extend the boundaries and go below ground, and hard up against both neighbouring homes.

In the large open-plan kitchen, bespoke white cabinetry is paired with dark wood and stainless steel accents and marble benchtops for classic appeal. This compliments the 800x400mm cream marble tiles, which flow into the living room overlooking the outdoor alfresco with a feature-stone fireplace. In the entrance hall, French Oak and stained antique timber flooring with a silk matt finish were employed to establish a warm welcome.
Underfloor heating was installed throughout the living spaces and bathrooms for added comfort in the winter months.
Custom arched cast steel frames and doors are to the rear, contributing to the character of the home, while providing views to the alfresco area and pool house beyond.
