September 4th at 8am!
The open EVERY Saturday and Sunday 9am-4pm

Enjoy the experience at the all new York Mill Markets. The York Mill Markets will be located within the East shed of the Old York Flour Mill site which was established in 1892.

York is the premier community tourism hub of the Eastern corridor and Avon Valley and is now home to the recently re-branded York Mill Site. The two acre site consists of quality retail shops, “The Mill Gallery, “The Mill Cafe & Restaurant “and is soon to be the home of the “York Mill Markets.”

The site is prominently placed at the entrance to the historic township of York, a short 97 km drive from Perth. The rustic 1200 sqm East shed will house the permanent weekend undercover Markets, and have vibrant new life breathed into it. The areas adjoining the Mill will be meshed together with the shed, to form an exciting hospitality and retail experience.

The Markets will feature crafts, locally produced foods (and added value local food products such as jams, chutneys etc), work and displays from local Artisans and Artists, collectables and other Western Australian made products. The markets will be at least 80% WA made produce, and will be made up of a mixture of permanent, monthly and occasional stallholders to ensure diversity.

The Markets will also have live cooking demonstrations by the world famous Susanne Wilder focusing on fresh and healthy. Susanne is a food writer, offers cooking classes and much more.

The York Mill Gallery is the largest regional gallery in Western Australia. Featuring Furniture, Fine Art, Jewellery, Country Clothing, and things for the kids, big and small!

Saturday 4th September the world renowned Michelle Taylor will be opening her photographic exhibition titled “Fashion Trails”

Our unique toilets are an attraction in themselves with plenty of visitors taking photos and the site features several specialty shops including Russcyn Alpaca Clothing.

The York Mill Cafe & Restaurant, located in the iconic 4 storey Flour Mill, boasts great service and exceptional cuisine at affordable prices. The Mill also caters for kids with a great kids menu and play area, a relaxing garden setting, great food and great service!!!

Weekends are jam packed with exciting menus, spit roast lunches and seasonal freshly made dinners. Freshly baked bread is available on weekends. Fully licensed with an extensive wine list as well as local beers and spirits also available.
