DKA cooking classes alert!

From Designed Kitchen Appliances | 05 Feb 2010

The first DKA cooking program for 2010 features the produce of summer in classes such as the Fresh Pasta Making and Italian Way with Seafood classes. These two classes are very popular and usually fill out quickly. There are three sessions for the steam oven demonstrations. These have proved to be very popular as people change their cooking habits to incorporate the health benefits of steam cooking. These classes demonstrate how to cook fish, meat, chicken sausages, vegetables and fruit in the ovens for maximum benefits. As is usual in any of my classes, there is plenty to eat at these demonstrations.

David Infirri, our mobile pizza expert, offers another program with us and Hadleigh Troy, the new rage chef in Perth at his East Perth restaurant, Amusè, continues to share some of his kitchen secrets with us.  Do not miss this occasion.

Bookings for the 2010 comprehensive Italian Cooking graduate course has started and there a few positions left for this set of 13 classes, which looks at regional differences in Italian food. This class starts on Wednesday, April 7, and the classes continue on a fortnightly cycle until the last class which is on Wednesday, September 22. Graduation for that class is on Wednesday, September 29, at Jackson’s Restaurant in Highgate under the patronage of the Italian consul to WA, Dott Giorgio Tabori.

Sales for DKA’s publication Top 50 Restaurant Guide for WA in 2010 have been very pleasing and the team welcomes any information you have on good new restaurants or restaurants that you think we should be considered for the 2011 Guide. This information can be sent to:
