CONSTRUCTION UNDERWAY AS RIVERSHORES
TAKES SHAPE IN NORTH FREMANTLE
Construction on the luxury apartment development Rivershores in North Fremantle’s
exclusive Northbank precinct is well underway with substantial progress on all
aspects of the project being made and increasing buyer interest generated, since the
commencement of construction in February.
Scheduled for completion in mid to late 2011, the basement levels of both buildings
have recently been installed, with the ground floors to follow in August.
As one of the last remaining Swan River frontage properties of its kind, ‘Rivershores’
reflects a five-storey, residential complex across two buildings (Queen Victoria and
Riverside) and will feature: 58 luxury apartments; fitness centre; infinity pool,
viewing platforms, citrus arbour; water features; kayak storage and a chic waterfront
access Café – a first for the Northbank precinct.
Large two and three bedroom apartments will boast sweeping views over the Swan
River, Fremantle Harbour, or garden terraces. The majority of apartments range in
price from just under a million through to three million dollars, with corresponding
living areas from 95 to 196 square metres.
Riverhome penthouses are priced at 7.3 million and offer up to 400 square metres of
luxurious waterfront living. Precision finishes and a three-tiered interior fit-out
selection (premium, prestige and penthouse) will be enhanced by luxury appliance
packages across the development.
Rivershores will create a hub between the city, beach and the river, providing a
boutique community for people seeking the tranquillity of the river and the luxury of
an urban lifestyle, within minutes of the location.
An inspired and visionary design by award-winning architects HASSELL centres on a
water-journey and will result in an iconic and contemporary sculptural building that
responds to its unique riverfront location.
The development will offer direct access to the foreshore and themes of water will be
prevalent, as the interior and exterior spaces harmoniously blend to create a private,
resort-like sanctuary for both residents and guests, as they move through key zones of
the buildings.
Sensitive to its surrounds, the development will strive for a light carbon footprint with
solar passive design; cross-ventilation balconies; water-wise plant species and energy
efficient lighting.
According to lead Sales Agent, Glenn O’Connor-Smith, enquiries and genuine buyer
interest in the development have increased since the commencement of construction:
“Opportunities like this on the Swan River don’t come around very often,” said Mr
O’Connor Smith.
“There is no doubt that buyer interest is steadily increasing as investors start to see
the development taking shape and review their options in the market place.
“With more than 40% of the development already sold and a steady improvement in
economic conditions, we are confident that large, luxury apartments in this unique
waterfront location, will simply not last.
“Currently, the development has approximately 32 apartments on offer across both
buildings. With around seven still remaining under $1 million and the growth in
popularity of the fashionable North Fremantle community, Rivershores will add an
exciting new dimension to the Northbank precinct and introduces a dynamic
investment alternative for the astute buyer.”
A new Sales Suite showcasing the Rivershores Project will officially open in the
coming weeks.
