Located in the breathtaking Murramarang National Park, Pebbly Beach has gained a well-deserved reputation for being home to the surfing kangaroos.

Although this is just a myth, there is no doubt that the beach is a stunning natural wonder that will leave you awestruck.

The turn-off to Pebbly Beach is conveniently located approximately 10 kilometers south of Termeil. From there, you'll have a scenic drive of about 8 kilometers over a gravel road to reach the beach itself. Be sure to take it easy on the gravel road and drive slowly while enjoying the beautiful scenery.

Pebbly Beach is a popular camping area that has plenty to offer every type of tourist. The beach is great for surfing, and there are fantastic bush walks within the Murramarang National Park that should not be missed. You can discover banksias, coastal rosemary, and lomandra growing on the exposed headlands, which are buffeted by salty sea winds. Watch out for sea eagles soaring above, sooty oyster catchers along the shore, and dolphins riding the waves out to sea.
