Gibbergunyah Reserve Bowral is a pristine natural reserve located in the picturesque New South Wales Southern Highlands region.

The reserve is an outdoor enthusiast's delight, offering a perfect respite from the hustle and bustle of the city.

The reserve is home to several secluded, shady walking trails that wind through the bushland range. The trails take visitors through contrasting landscapes, from the open woodland on the drier edges to the tall, moist fern-carpeted forest in the deeper gullies. The reserve is teeming with abundant wildlife, from Wombats, echidnas, and brightly colored flowers that bloom according to the season. Visitors can catch sight of wildlife making their lairs in the crevices of the rocks below.

The Ninety Acre Hill Lookout, standing at over 800 meters, offers breathtaking, sweeping views of the distant Blue Mountains from its lichen-clad boulders. Visitors can spot Mount Gibraltar from the Gib Lookout, offering a perfect spot for taking in the stunning view.

Visitors can enjoy a picnic on the sunny, rocky outcrops located in the reserve. The fire season offers a treat to visitors, as the tall banksia await fire to open their spiky, rock-hard seed-pods, creating a spectacle worth experiencing.

Visitors can access Gibbergunyah Reserve from two entrances, one located in Bowral, and the other in Mittagong.
